i think i’m safe in saying that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a pretty terrible movie. there were, however, a few scenes that were filmed in our old neighborhood in Los Angeles that i took some screenshots of during my first and only time watching it. the screenshots sat unseen and unused until yesterday when i realized that i recognized more than just the locale.

you’re looking at the very same Hudson Eight convertible that i posted about last year. this one:

sorry to everyone that thought this post was going to be more interesting.
hooray, the new computer is here! i can finally watch things in high definition!
photos and more info to come by this weekend :)

gotta love the Race of Champions. and Audi Quattro Group B rally cars. and Michael Schumacher.
this is stupid, but i’m wearing sweatpants right now that i picked up for cheap at a big box store near Beka’s mom’s house yesterday. it’s been a long time since i’ve owned sweatpants but i used to wear them pretty much everyday before i fully grasped the concept of shame sometime during primary school.
anyway, i feel like a complete fool.

ha!
someone once said that my life revolves around Mexican food. es verdad.
a stampede in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh has killed hundreds of people during the final day of Bon Om Thook, the Khmer Water Festival. please pray for them.
as i was nearing my exit off Lake Shore Drive the other day, i saw flashing blue lights ahead of a growing sea of taillights. inching closer, i noticed not only that the (minor) accident took place at my exit, but that it had involved an otherwise pristine Porsche 928 being rear-ended by a great ogre of a minivan. these are terrible times.
