i usually think life is moving too fast but i occasionally think it’s moving too slow as well. i also think i’m a gila monster sometimes.

so after much deliberation, i’ve decided on buying a compact digital camera; just something small that can take decent video and acceptable photographs (if need be). the shining jewel in the unimaginative pile of boxy silver clones available would have to be, of course, the Kodak V705. note the obvious sexiness of having two lenses: a fixed 23mm (35mm equivalent) and a 39-117mm (35mm equivalent) zoom.

anyway, you would not believe how difficult it is to find a black Kodak V705 for sale online without having to pay an exorbitant amount of money. i’ve looked pretty much everywhere and have had no luck. all the reasonably priced V705’s i’ve found are silver.

and silver makes me angry.

i guess things have been pretty boring back here in Chicago. i’ve been spending a lot of my time passed out on the couch and the rest of it passed out on my bed. i’m in a bit of a situation in that i’ve just adapted from GMT+8 to GMT+4:30 then GMT-6 and now, in a little more than a week, i’ll have to reenter GMT+8 again. then come back here to GMT-6.
