YOUR LUCKY DAY  09.29.03

i really need a big break. like the sudden and unexpected abolishment of currency or winning of the lottery. something that can free me from this horrible dependency. i hate you, money. screw you and your fancy pants.

also, i’ve noticed that my entries have been bitter and hate-filled as of late. how do i explain myself? well, i don’t have to. so i won’t. deal with it.

WHATSAMADDA, TYKE?  09.28.03

suburbia blows. i’m definitely moving to the city where i’ll live until i die someday from a freak pencil-sharpening accident. there’s so much more life in the city…so much more to experience. true…the city may be a bit more dangerous at night, but seriously now…a little common sense (walking in groups) can save you trouble more often than not. that’s about all it takes, folks.

and another thing…if i have kids, i’m raising them in the city so they can be hard. i don’t want no soft sissy suburbanite for a kid. they gotta be streetsmart and be able to stand up for themselves. i want to send my kids out feeling confident of their abilities to hold their own…not worrying about whether or not they’ll trip over their own shoelaces. i want them to experience the world firsthand and not through some sheltered, rose-colored glasses…i want them to recognize and be prepared for the twisted sphere of evil we call earth.

actually, that’s probably a pretty good reason why i shouldn’t have kids.

REST IN PEACE  09.25.03

holy crap. no wonder i didn’t see you this week. i thought you were sick or something but i hesitated to call and see if you needed to know what was going on in class. i remember how we used to study last year for stupid calculus exams and how we used to talk about how our futures would turn out alright despite our current setbacks…how crap that happens in our lives just makes the good stuff better. i just saw you on wednesday.

and now you’re gone.

THIS OLD HIZZOUSE  09.24.03

take a look at UIC’s website, or more specifically, the banner at the top. if you scan left to right, you’ll see a fist-pumping Asian girl, a negative of the UIC pavilion and then what appears to be a homeless black man.

now i’m pretty sure he wasn’t actually dragged off the streets to be the token black guy, but dag yo…he looks like a grade-A bum! i’m not quite sure what makes him look homeless but my money is riding on either his hat or unshaven face. i hope he’s not actually a professor or something.

your service sucks. do you have any idea how many times my calls are dropped PER MINUTE? i can’t even complete a simple 2 minute conversation without calling back at least 5 times. i can’t even call “customercare” without getting my call dropped! it’s utterly ABSURD and UNACCEPTABLE. i intend to switch to another company after my contract expires and will NOT hesitate to give you guys bad publicity. this service has been total crap from the beginning, not to mention a waste of my time and money. i’ve complained to you before, but APPARENTLY i’m not a valued customer because i have received NO response and have observed NO action being taken. screw you, sprint. i hate you. you make me sick.

i learned this past weekend that i’m a lot more sociable when i don’t sleep. in light of that, i’ve concluded that sleep is inversely proportional to friends. g’night all.
